ARIM DANCE

Ari Mayzick hails from NY where he trained at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, Joffrey Ballet and SAB on full scholarships. He’s danced with (naming a few) Pearl Lang Dance Theater, Rioult, Scapino Ballet (Holland), Washington Opera as a “Guest Soloist Artist,” “Principal” dancer with Buglisi Dance Theater & Les Ballets Grandiva, and currently a “Guest Soloist” with the Martha Graham Dance Company where he's danced Principal Roles. Ari’s a recipient of the Princess Grace Award of Excellence in Dance; on faculty teaching at Alvin Ailey & Raritan Valley Community College, taught master classes/workshops at universities such as NYU, UNLV, BYU, Syracuse University, and Virginia Commonwealth Community College etc., dance schools, and internationally in Europe. He’s also a Regisseur of Martha Graham works, and is Artistic Director of ARIM Dance where he’s the sole choreographer. His work’s been staged on and performed by students of Alvin Ailey, Universities, and others.
